Mosaic Workshop for kids

This workshop is a great opportunity to make something beautiful whilst having fun and learning a new skill.

Children will learn to create a mosaic picture using a combination of glass tiles, ceramic tiles and beads. Not cutting of tiles will be required.

What is provided:

- Templates, tiles and all other materials will be provided

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Rita is a passionate maker and artist based in Eltham. For as long as she can remember she has been making. When she was a child she knitted dolls' dresses. When she was a teenager she made her own clothes. When she was a working mum she tried jewellery making, crochet, t-shirt printing, pottery, ceramic painting, tapestry, string art and cooking.

Recently Rita has established her own home-based artist studio in Eltham and has focused on mosaic, garden art, journal and paper making and, most recently, macramé. Rita is inspired by nature and textures and loves to use her hands. She is excited to share the calm and joy that macramé brings and looks forward to supporting others to make their own creations.

Her home and studio is her gallery and she looks forward to sharing this with you.
